Obituary of Romey Roy Armes
Romey R. Armes passed away unexpectedly on July 27th, 2011 in Portland, Oregon. He was 75. Born January 14th, 1936 in Eugene, Oregon, he went on to receive his degree in music from the University of Oregon. A music teacher for many years in the Beaverton School District, he married Cheryl L. Drysdale in 1965. They raised two children, Jaime and Colin. Romey enjoyed woodworking, gardening and caring for the family pets.
Romey is survived by his wife, Cheryl Armes, and daughter Jaime (Scot) Lambert and son Colin (Kathleen) Armes. He is further survived by four grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held in Romey’s honor. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morris Animal Foundation. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center - Tualatin.
