Fond memories of Ron at the Davenport family reunions in Brownsville OR. He was always congenial, ready to play ringers or just visit with Carole’s family. I was always stashing food in the fridge in the motor home and he was so accommodating. Regret we lost contact after reunions ended, but thinking of him and our times together brings a smile to my face. My deepest sympathy to all the family. Fay Brown (Carole’s cousin)

I have never met Ron but I know and love his wife Carole. I would always see a sparkle in Carole's eye when she spoke if him or just after she got off the phone talking with him. Carole is our painting buddy and we all feel pain at her loss and her families loss. Like Jody said, we are here for you Carole. Any time you need us just call. My prayers and thoughts are with you dear friend.

I am so heartbroken by the loss of an amazing man. I only knew him a few short years but he changed my life in so many ways. He was always so encouraging and would tell me to buck up all the time. He made me feel like part of the family immediately. Im gonna miss him and his contagious smile. Love you dad❤

Ron is an amazing man who had a heart of gold and the strength of a lion. He was the epitome of humble, strength, and love all combined into one. He set a great example of what it means to have honor and grace while lifting those around him. He was a pillar of our community, well-loved, and an exemplary human on all levels. He will be missed by so many. I am so grateful to have known him and will continue to live in his strength and love. Much to love and hugs to all who are left behind, I wish you peace during this challenging time and extend my love to all of you.
