Bruce was one of our favorite cousins. As a child I always remember him at the ItalianThanksgiving dinners we had because he was usually laughing and having a good time. We loved the boxes he made and did purchase a couple of them. They are absolutely gorgeous. Rest in peace, Bruce, and may you have the Lord's blessing.

Angela and Joyce, sorry for your loss. I was actually thinking of you all the other day, while talking with some friends about water skiing, but unaware of Bruce's passing while doing so. He was a great man and always made me feel welcomed. I still have the pocket knife he gave me for Christmas the first year Angela and I were dating and also have the box he built and gave me before I left for boot camp. Sending my love, thoughts and prayers from the middle of the ocean onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Grandpa Bruce ! I was welcomed into the Holland family 17 years ago when I 1st met Nick. My favorite memories with you would be all the fun times celebrating birthdays, thanksgiving, & Christmas year after year at Brenda & Rich’s house. you had a very kind heart for your family. My absolute BEST memory is when you came to the hospital to meet your great granddaughter Elliana... I told you her name is Italian & Portuguese which is a mix of my family background & Nicks family background, you always told us how beautiful u thought her name was. Then you were able the hold your next Great grandson Theodore,& you said “wow he looks like Nick”, & u held him with a huge grin. These are precious memories that I will be sure to pass down to my kids so they will know how family oriented, kind, funny, & sweet their great grandfather was. RIP xo

Uncle Bruce, you will be forever missed and in my heart forever... so many different memories popping up and have been thinking about you, aunt Joyce, Angie, all the family. I absolutely loved the boxes you made, they were like beautiful wooden treasure boxes that you really put a lot of heart into. Everyone is in my thoughts and heart, I'm so sorry for a great loss. You will be missed and loved forever and always.

Dearest Most Precious Dad, I love you more than air and it’s hard to breathe with you gone. I pray that you’ve found the ultimate peace and joy that you’ve always sought in your life. Thank you for teaching me honor, honesty, integrity and love and the value of family and commitment. Thank you for teaching me the value of self respect as well as the gift of peacemaking. You are the most exceptional example of a man who “changed his stars” inspiring us all. Thank you for supporting, encouraging me and building me up when I needed it most. I will miss you forever until I come to join you. I will miss the love in your eyes and warmth of your smile and gentle hugs. Until then, I will miss you. Your loving daughter, Sherri Lynn

Our love & condolences to Joyce and all of Bruce's family. How Blessed we are to have enjoyed so many memories, snorkeling sessions as well as fabulous meals together at our home in Maui. You taught patience to my husband fishing at Mercer Lake as well as your wit and funny jokes. You will always be a part of our Ohana. And we know how much you enjoyed Joyce's Lemon Meringue pies we both ate an entire pie in the middle of the night and blamed the other for it! Bruce truly is the true meaning of ALOHA! Forever in our hearts always. A Hui Ho Sweet Puluke.
