I'm sorry we never met, but I have met you through your wonderful daughter, Laura. She speaks about your road trips and your ability to tell a great joke. I know you're proud of your family, and I thank you for your Sweet daughter, Laura! Rest in peace Joe!

Uncle Joe, you're quite the Star gone home too early. You have given me such Fabulous memories that fill my heart with tears and laughter. I'm pretty sure you and Pappa Chuckie are laughing while thinking up crazy schemes. You'll be missed for sure but I'm glad your not in pain anymore. Love you Uncle Joe, Love you, Lizard Lips

From the moment my family arrived in Oregon, the entire Sweet family became OUR FAMILY! With Joe and Cec by our side, we met friends, and became part of the neighborhood and community. Joe, I will always remember how excited all the kids were to see you, and hear your most recent inappropriate, but extremely funny jokes! You always made us feel happy, and comfortable, and loved. In later years, you touched my son's heart by including him in the adult card games, and ALWAYS ENTERTAINING him with your quick humor. You truly knew how to bring out the best in people! Blessings to Dan, Pam, Laura and Cec. YOUR FAMILY IS THE DEFINITION OF SWEET, and I love you all dearly. RIP Joe!
