Obituary of Robert Alan Mathieson
AKA: Bob Steele
Robert passed away January 15, 2022 at OHSU, he is joining his parents Barbara and Randall Steele and his best friend Dennis Johnson and his son Aaron.
Bob is survived by the Love of his life and wife of 36 years Roni. He also leaves behind the sparkle in his eye, his daughter Jami and son in law Shane Young Keizer OR He also had a stepson Bo Finch in Tennessee and a very special “son” Aaron Denman, White City OR
He had several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He also had some very special Nieces and Nephews.
Bob was an owner operator for several years, leased to Timber Products and RB Brown trucking. He drove Log Truck for RB Browns where he retired in 2021
Bob served in the US Marine Corps
Bob played lead guitar in local bands for several years, he played in Gold Coach Express for many years and Northwest LTD.
Bob never met a stranger; he did not have a bad thing to say about anyone. Everyone wanted to be Bob’s friend…..and were.
Bob will be missed by all that knew him
Celebration of Life will be at Path Church 310 N 10th St Central Point, OR 97502 February 19th at 2PM
