John and I have known Bob for many, many years but we are so grateful that he was able to put this beautiful paint on our '28 Hotrod. You will be forever missed ❤️

I met Bob back in the late 1970's through my Uncle Dennis. He and Uncle Dennis nicknamed me Roger and that is the only name Bob used when he called me. Bob and I worked together selling children's shoes in the bay area before he moved back to Oregon. When Kevin and I married Bob and the Gold Coach Express played at our reception. They were tired because they played a gig on Friday night in Oregon and drove to the bay area to play our reception at 2 the next afternoon! No other wedding reception ever had better music than ours! There will never be a sweeter more fun loving man than Bob! Say hi to my Uncle Dennis for me. Love Roger

Bob was a kind soul, and was more like family than a friend. He was there for me at one of the toughest experiences of my life, and never flinched. I am eternally grateful to have had him in my life. I played with him when Gold Coach Express reformed, and I was green as a gourd! Bob helped me along and showed me so many things too numerous to mention. The night he passed I received a phone call from our mutual friend Mike Smart. He informed me of Bob's passing, and I'm so glad I didn't have to read it in a post I have not slept well since, and that night I awoke at 3 AM and grabbed my notebook, pen and warmed up a cup of coffee. I sat down and wrote a song, which will be a part of Bobs' memorial service. I figured that was the least I could do. I hope I can get through it without choking up; I had a great coach! I'll miss him terribly, but I have so many precious memories that I keep in my heart. Vaya con Dios, Amigo...requiem in pacem. Lester Larios
