Obituary of Solomon Assegid Mulat

 

Solomon Mulat was born on June 27, 1988, to his mother Yeshi Bezuneh, and his father Abayne Hailemariam. 

Solomon’s father passed away when he was only two years old. After staying with his grandmother, Etagegn Debalke, for a few years, he came to live with his aunt, Woinshet Hailemariam, her husband Assegid Mulat, and his cousins.

Once at his aunt’s house, Solomon became one of the Mulat children. He attended secondary school up to 10th grade in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 

In 2012, after ten years of waiting, Assegid Mulat and Woineshet Hailemariam succeeded in bringing Solomon to the United States to live with them. Solomon completed his GED upon arriving in Portland, OR. He attended a trade school in Astoria, Oregon, and graduated in 2015. 

Solomon held several positions and was great at learning new skills quickly. He often remarked on his ability to quickly pick up new skills and said he was lucky. 

Solomon was a talented, hardworking, sociable, and fun-loving person that befriended everyone. He did not hesitate to share a meal with others and enjoy a lively conversation. 

Our hearts are broken to have learned of his death due to an illness he has been battling for the past several years. He was taken from this world too soon and we cherish the good times we had as a family.

 

10 I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

ሰለሞን ሙላት ከእናቱ ወ/ሮ የሺ ብዙነህ እና ከአባቱ አቶ አባይነህ ኃይለማርያም ግንቦት 24፣ 1980 ዓ.ም ተወለደ::

ሰለሞን ሁለት አመት ሲሞላው አባቱ አቶ አባይነህ ኃይለማርያም በሞት ስለተለዩት አያቱ ወ/ሮ እታገኝ ደባልቄ ዘንድ ማደግ ጀመረ:: ከጥቂት አመታት በኃላ ከአክስቱ ወይንሸት ኃይለማርያምና ከባለቤታቸው አሰግድ ሙላት ዘንድ በመምጣት ከሌሎች ልጆቻቸው ጋር አብሮ ማደግ ጀመረ:: እድሜው  ለትምህርት ሲደርስ አንደኛ ደርጃ ትምህርቱን እስከ አስረኛ ክፍል ድረስ በአዲስ አበባ ተከታተለ:: 

ሰለሞን ከቤተሰቦቹ ጋር ለመኖር በ2004 ዓ.ም ወደ አሜሪካ አገር መጣ:: አሜሪካ ከመጣ በኃላ ጃብኮር ማሰለጠኛ ገብቶ የሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርቱን ዲፕሎማ አጠናቆ  በጠቅላላ ሜካኒክነት ሙያ ተመርቋል:: 

ከዚያም በኃላ በተለያዩ ድርጅቶች ውስጥ ተቀጥሮ ያገለገለ ሲሆን በጠንካራ ሰራተኛነቱ ይታወቃል:: ሰለሞን ከሁሉም ሰው ጋር የሚግባባ፣  ሰላምተኛና ተጫዋች እንደነበር የሚያውቁት ይመሰክራሉ:: ሰለሞን ሰዎችን መርዳት የሚያስደስተው ወጣት ነበር::

ሰለሞን ሙላት አርብ ሐምሌ 24 ቀን 2012 ዓ.ም በተወለደ በ32 አመቱ ባደረበት ድንገተኛ ሕመም ምክኒያት በወጣትነቱ   ሕይወቱ አልፏል። ለመላው ቤተሰቦቹ: ለወዳጅ ዘመዶቻቸው ሁሉ መጽናናትን እንመኛለን።

 

10 ፤ እግዚአብሔር ለሰው ልጆች ይደክሙበት ዘንድ የሰጣቸውን ጥረት አይቻለሁ። 

11 ፤ ነገርን ሁሉ በጊዜው ውብ አድርጎ ሠራው፤ እግዚአብሔርም ከጥንት ጀምሮ እስከ ፍጻሜ ድረስ የሠራውን ሥራ ሰው መርምሮ እንዳያገኝ ዘላለምነትን በልቡ ሰጠው።
