I would have to write a novel to share all of the memories I have of John. He always said we needed to write a book. John was family to me. We met at age 16 and rarely went more than a week or two without talking for over 40 years. I assisted in his first salmon, he assisted in my first elk. We had countless "firsts" together. He was alway there without judgement for anything and everything through good times and tough times. A true friend that most people could onlly hope for. I loved him and he will be deeply missed every day for the rest of my life.

RIP Johnny, You will be missed. I have so many memories but my very favorite is when we were kids and we would take the wagon or a big box and go door to door collecting pop bottles. We would spend hours doing this and then we would head up to Olson’s Corner Store and turn them in for cash. Then we would buy a bunch of candy and of course, pop!! We did this so often during the summer that some people just started leaving their empties outside their doors for us. Good Times!!! RIP, Love you, miss you.
