Obituary of Wanda Lou Roe
Wanda passed away in the early hours of November 5th, 2009 in Salem, OR at the age of 76. She was born in Stonewall, OK July 8th, 1933 to Grover and Perrnie Barnes. She grew up in Bakersfield, CA and moved to Oregon in 1964. Wanda loved knitting, puzzles, gardening and cooking. She was a member of the Salem Evangelical Church. She is survived by her daughter Patty Weathers of Salem; sons Gary Weathers of Culver; Wayne Weathers of Oakridge; Dwight Weathers of Sequim, WA; Steven Roe of Culver and brother Joe Barnes of Casa Grande, AZ; many grand children, great-grand children and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her son David Weathers; her husband Mel Roe; brothers Lloyd and Buddy and her sisters Leon and Dorthy. A private family service was held November 6th, 2009. Memorial contributions can be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Memorial Center – Salem.
