Obituary of James Marshall Morris
James Marshall Morris, III May 11, 1921 – January 26, 2010 James (Jim) Marshall Morris III passed away on January 26th, 2010. He was born on May 11, 1921 and graduated from Grant High School and Oregon State University. Jim worked as a food technologist for Stayton Canning Company. He is known to have the largest railroad photograph collection in the world. Jim is survived by his sons Jim and Robert Morris; daughter Marilyn Hopkins and 1 grandson. He is preceded in death by his wife Louise, who passed away to cancer in 2000. After Louise’s battle with cancer, Jim would request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
