James (Jim) George Zeazas Born April 2nd, 1927 in Portland, OR. Died at age 85 from natural causes May 13th, 2012 at his residence in Tigard, OR. Survived by his brother George, and sons Mark, Tony, and Aaron. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jim graduated from Franklin High School (Class of 1945), where he participated in track and field in addition to his academic program. He enlisted in the US Army at an undetermined date (many military personnel records where lost in a fire at a government storage facility in 1973), and was Honorably discharged as a Sergeant (Technician Grade 4) in November of 1946. Jim was last stationed at Tegernsee, Germany. Upon discharge from the Army, Jim enrolled in the Oregon State University pharmacy program on the G.I. Bill. While there, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Upon graduation from OSU (Class of 1950) and awarding of his degree and serving his internship, Jim was employed as a pharmacist at a number of pharmacies throughout the Portland area, including Providence and Holiday Park hospitals. He retired from his profession in 1993. Jim met and married Shirley Beach in 1951, and had three sons during their marriage. He was subsequently married twice more; to Louise Alan, and lastly to Mary Alice Cavagnaro. Jim was a loving, giving, generous, and supportive father, family member, and friend to all. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
