Obituary of Beatrice Mae Beerman
Beatrice M. Beerman, 86, passed away of natural causes on April 28, 2012 in Troutdale, OR. She is preceded in death by Harry, her beloved husband of 65 years, and survived by her sisters, Evelyn Casebolt in CO, Rena Koch in NV, and Marvel Krikorian in CA; children, Garth Beerman (Sally) in Castle Rock, CO, Kristie Martz in OR, and step-daughter, Lori Chriest in Seattle, WA; grandmother to Amanda Martz, Zach Beerman, Kaleb (Aubrie) Beerman, step-grandmother to Darren Chriest and Jeff (Shelley) Chriest; and great grandmother to Rhowynn and Kade Beerman; and step-great grandmother to Cody and Cassie Chriest and Sonja Furney plus many nieces and nephews.
Bea was born on May 14, 1925 to the Ballard J. Dillon and Margaret Neeley Dillon in Weiser, Idaho. She was the middle child of the seven Dillon children. She graduated from Weiser High School in 1943. Bea was an expert in couture dress design and pattern drafting. Her oil paintings were admired by all who saw them. Over the years, the family lived in Boise, ID, Seattle, WA, Omaha, NE, Fort Wayne, IN and in 1987 Bea and Harry retired to Salem, OR. Beatrice’s memorial service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Salem, OR at the Mount Crest Abbey Mausoleum-City View Cemetery.
