Min was born in Portland, Oregon to Howard and Vera Francis on September 30, 1920. She passed away in Milwaukie, Oregon on March 21, 2012. Minerva is survived by her son Leslie and wife Arliss; son Lester and wife Billie; daughter Linda; grandchildren: Cory, Tom, David, Steven and Hannah; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Wallace, their daughter Sharon and second husband David Grim. A graveside memorial service will be on April 7, 2012 at 1:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Name – (Mrs) Minerva M. Volunteer work and hobbies: she was active at Oak Grove Elementary during her childrens’ school years as a room mother and a cub scout den mother for Pack 202 She loved gardening, cooking, and crafts – enjoyed camping trips with her family. She loved her RV travels throughout the US in her later years. Other Information: fondly nicknamed “Beach Grandma” by her grandchildren who loved visiting at her home in PC -- Loved by many other of her childrens’ friends & the neighbor kids who found her home a welcome haven Dates and locations lived in local communities: grew up in Portland, raised her family in Oak Grove, moved to Salem after retiring and then to Pacific City before returning to Milwaukie area to be near her family and friends.
