Obituary of Jerome Parks
A native of New York, Jerome Parks moved to California as a young man, and in 2004, he and his wife, Barbara, moved to Oregon. Jerome served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a paratrooper. He worked as an engineer for several Southern California aerospace companies, and became an attorney at the age of 50. His accomplishments include numerous patents for his inventions, and the authoring of several books. Known as an exceptional intellect and great wit, Jerome was a very special man, and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Parks, four children, and two grandchildren. Jerome’s extended family includes a wonderful grandson, David Spitzer, who was there for him during his final days on earth supporting his very loving wife, Barbara.
