Obituary of Sharon Marie Tyseling
Sharon was born in Cordova, Alaska on November 13, 1940 to parents Jake and Irene Tyseling . She moved to Oregon in 1956 where she was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1958 and studied psychology at Portland State University. She worked many different jobs during her adult life including as a police officer in Florida, a selective service draft board secretary in Portland, at Emanuel hospital in Portland and she eventually retired from the U. S. Post Office after 28 years. “Sis” loved to play practical jokes and enjoyed traveling to warm and sunny places with her friends, especially flying to Reno or Las Vegas for a little fun with the “one armed bandits”. She will be missed by her brother Jacob of Lakeside California, brother Robert of Milwaukie, Oregon, sister Diane of Estacada, Oregon and sister Arlene of Sherwood, Oregon and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Jake and Irene, stepmother Evelyn, stepfather Robert and brother Jeffery.
