Obituary of Victor Moshe Korazija

Victor Moshe Korazija passed away in Forest Grove, Oregon on March 3rd, 2012. He was 82. Born November 16th, 1929 in Komletinci, Yugoslavia, he worked as head of security for the Yugoslavian Military, performing clearance and office duties for a Yugoslavian Army General. He and his wife, Jacqueline, emigrated to the United States, later moving to Oregon in 1966. When he was still quite young he worked as a jeweler, creating and selling his work at Pikes Place Market in Seattle, Washington. In later years he became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Forest Grove, OR. Victor is survived by his daughter Teresa McCowan of Aloha, OR and by his son, Tony Korazija of St. Helens, OR. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Valerie McCowan, Emily McCowan and Brandon Hicks, all of Aloha, OR and by Kayla Korazija of St. Helens, OR by Amanda Young of Beaverton, Oregon. He is further survived by his great-grandson Jason Myers of Beaverton, OR. A Memorial Service for Victor is scheduled to be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 at the Forest Grove Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 3661 Brooke Street, Forest Grove, OR, 97116.
