Obituary of John Andrew Robertson
John Andrew Robertson was born on July 17, 1939 in Edinburg, Indiana. He passed away on February 24, 2012 at the age of 72. John, better known as “Andy”, was raised in Whiteland, Indiana, graduating from Whiteland High School in 1959. He then went on to Indiana Central College and worked as a Banker. On October 27, 1972 he married Sandra Lee Yates. Andy enjoyed fishing, bowling, Nascar, travelling and John Wayne. He was a member of the Portland Christian Center and in the Rotary Club in Indiana.
Andy is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Roberts, MSGT, of Tigard; sons Mark Allen Robertson of Tampa, Florida and Joseph F. Jekel (wife, Joy) of Fisher, Indiana; daughter Shannon Marie Maxwell (husband Bruce) of Tampa, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Robertson. A service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, date and time undecided. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Tualatin.
