Obituary of Steven Jerome McDonald

Steven Jerome McDonald was born in Portland, Oregon to George and Margaret McDonald on April 3, 1950. Steve was a jack of all trades who could fix anything and was always there when someone needed him. He was known for his great sense of humor and how fun he was to be around. He had a wonderful ability to allow people to be themselves; supporting them and accepting them just how they were. He owned K&S Mobile Home Services setting up and servicing mobile homes in the greater Portland area for a number of years as Brenda was growing up and while he was married to Marcia. After closing the business he worked as an automotive mechanic and heavy equipment mechanic in the Portland area, he separated from Marcia after 32 years of marriage before retiring and later relocating to Oakridge, Oregon. He passed away at his daughter’s home in Portland on February 11, 2012 from cancer at the age of 61. He leaves behind his daughter Brenda, grandson Michael, who was the apple of his grandpa’s eye, granddaughter-in-law Hailey, mother Margaret, brother Mike, many friends and his dogs Smokey Joe and Angie. He was loved and will be missed by those he left behind. “May the Lord carry you.”
