I met Mary through the eyes of Ken. I could see the warmth in those eyes as he spoke of their beginning. In his office were photographs, it was clear there was a lot of love between them. Their time overseas...their time raising their children...the dreams...the fulfillment. Ken loved Mary with that wonderful combination of wanting her to be her own person, but wanting to protect her. Let's raise this candle to the light they shone on one another, and on those around them! Now, Mary is in God's tender hands. No more confusion, no more pain. She is in the light. God bless her...and Ken as he continues his journey.

You gave me a most wonderful friendship with your daughter, Malia (49 years and counting)! Thank you for being a most amazing woman, in your service to our country and as a wonderful wife and mother and Grammy. I promise to always be here for Melia and I'm sure she and i will one day, sit on porch rockers together as two old ladies and you will be smiling down with that HUGE smile of yours.

Hi, Mr. McClain. Talked with you today about your homeowners association issue. Hope you got my message about the real estate people who sell homes in your area or the builder having the covenants of the association. When you mentioned that she had just passed, i felt I should honor you and her by tracking you down and giving you the information my boss gave me. She was a beautiful amazig lady, and you were a very lovely couple. What lovely tributes she has! Hope that your family holds you close to them at this painful time.

Grammy, Its been about a year since I said goodbye to you, I miss you so much my heart hurts. I always tell Sophia about you. We have pictures of you and things of yours all around the house and I make sure to tell her about Grammy and I always will. I try to spend as much time as I can with Poppy...he misses you so much, all of us do. I love you I love you I LOVE YOU. I would say I wish you were here to see Sophia grow up but I know that youre around. You taught me so much, about respecting myself and loving myself and finding a man who truly cherishes me like poppy did you. One day I will find that. I know that you just wanted to see me happy, and I am and I will be. See you when I see you.

Mother, you are so missed. Dad must be so happy being with you again, and he only had to wait 2 1/2 years to be reunited with the love of his life. You have been together for 70 years, and what a love you had. I love you both.
