Obituary of Albert N. Wright
Albert Noten Wright, 95, died Friday, January 27, 2012. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Lon and Mary George Wright. He was predeceased by a son, Albert Lon Wright. He was retired from the US Air Force with 22 years of service. He retired from the Charles George VA Medical Center and was an employee of Wright’s Hearth, Heat & Home. Surviving are his son, Tom Wright and wife Karen of Arden, NC; daughter, Cathy Williams and husband Ken of Canby, OR; Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Fletcher First Baptist Church in North Carolina. A private family graveside service will take place at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon. Arrangements by Penland and Sons Funeral Home (North Carolina), Crown Memorial Center (Oregon).
