Obituary of Carol Ann Sawyer
Carol Ann Sawyer passed away November 8th, 2011 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 70. She was born in Portland on January 25th, 1941, and grew up there as well. She worked in lumber sales for many years, and enjoyed shopping, gardening and travel. She was a member of the Benevolent and Portective Order of Elks of the United States of America. She was an active member and was in charge of the Christmas Basket Toy Program.
Carol is survived by her daughter Marisa Harris of Aloha, Oregon and her son Stan Harris of Vancouver, Washington. She is further survived by her granddaughter Emile Harris of Hillsboro, Oregon, and by her sister Nancy Chambliss of Sacramento, Californa and brother Phil Biddle, also of Sacramento.
An Elks Memorial will be held for Carol at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 20th, 2011 at the Hillsboro Elks Lodge, located at 21865 N.W. Quatama Rd. in Hillsboro, Oregon.
