Obituary of John Adolph Hart
John was born in Portland to Jacob and Caroline Dressler Hart. He had three sisters and two brothers, all deceased. He is survived by June Hart, his wife of 67 years, and son Jan Hart and daughter Anette Hart Otness; preceded in death by son John H. Hart. He proudly served in the Merchant Marines during WWII throughout the world. His career was in elevator construction for Otis elevator until retirement then enjoying time spent playing gold, hunting, camping a d working on numerous building projects with family, world-wide travel and spending time with family and friends. A celebration of life will be held for John at 11 am on November 26, 2011 at Grieg Lodge, 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR with a light luncheon to follow.
