A good hearted man. I have missed him very much. I hope the kids are well and hanging in there. I know what its like to lose a parent. Uncle D helped me get through my moms death. I am very appreciative for all the lessons. They are priceless.

Darryl was truly one in a billion. He had a heart of gold that touched the lives of so many. He had a way about him that when he spoke people listened and respected him. His passing has been a great loss. He is missed terribly and will never be forgotten. May God hold him in the palm of his hand, until we meet again.

Daddy, I miss you so much. There are a few things I'd like to THANK YOU for besides the obvious like life, love, and you, but especially for the last six months of your life here with us. You were the dad I remember when I was a little girl, before a lot of the trials later on in life. You called me every day at least once but usually twice, you actually had something to talk about you weren't to busy to talk or in a hurry you gave me the time of day that I had longed for for years. You were happy to hear about my day and gave me advice, you were anxious for my visit and never wanted me to leave. I loved that dad. You even acknowledged your grandchildren, whom by the way have very happy, loving complete memories of you. You lit up every time I walked in the room. You were very cute! I know I was suppose to make this brief but that's impossible actually its impossible to even say everything I want to say, most of all I am so fortunate to have you as a father I thank God every day for choosing you as my daddy. I think about the moment Jesus decided it was time for you to come back home to him and I am so grateful and fortunate to have been holding your hand as you took his hand and went off to heaven. There's nothing more convincing then the look on your face and the feeling that that moment brought to me that I am convinced we will be together again. Also thank you for reassuring me of this the day you decided to put me in check it was perfect timing. I absolutely positively have faith. I know for sure we will be together again in heaven with our heavenly father. Honestly I was losing faith due to all of the trials and heartache that all of us have been through. I've had a difficult time understanding why so much pain has come our way, I now know without the heartache there would be no love and without love there would be no heartache. Loving you always until we meet again.
