Obituary of Timothy James Chaffins
Timothy “Tim” James Chaffins, 51, was born on August 13, 1960 and passed away on October 7, 2011. He was raised by his grandparents Elwood and Mildred Cline. His parents were William and Shirley Chaffins. His brother, who preceded him in death, was Kenny. His surviving relatives are Sandy Chaffins, Tracy O’Hearn and niece Karlie. He was a loving husband to Karen and a devoted father to his two children, Blake and Brittany Chaffins. He was also a loving grandfather to his only grandchild James Bentley Chaffins. Tim was an over the road truck driver for more than 20 years. In 2007 he was awarded the Million Mile safety award. He was also awarded father of the years in the State of Montana in 1998. Tim enjoyed the smaller things in life like hunting and fishing with his family. Everyone that knew Tim loved him. He will be greatly missed.
