Obituary of Howard Wendell Brown

Howard Brown passed away October 8th, 2011 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on the 4th of July, 1924, he was raised primarily in Oregon. He served in the Navy during WWII, achieving the rank of Aviation Machinist’s Mate First Class. He married Beatrice Brown and went on to a career as an engineer for the telephone company. He enjoyed water skiing, boating, fishing and working on cars. He is survived by his daughter Susan Mills and her husband David Mills of Vancouver, WA, and by his grandchildren Adam Mills of New York, NY, Nathan Mills of Portland, OR and Molly Mills of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by his sisters Eileen Hanson of Spokane, WA and Marilyn Lynn of Monroe, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice. A service for Howard Brown will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27th, 2011 at Crescent Grove Cemetery, located at 9925 SW Greenburg Road in Tigard, Oregon.
