Obituary of John Milton Hood
John died in Portland on September 18, 2011. He served his country in the Navy for 4 years, spent the last 33 years with the love of his life, Vivian Jackson, & worked 30 years at Pacific Telephone in administration.
For fun, John was an antiquarian book collector, and a hard core vexillologist (flag expert; he’s got a basement full of them!).
He is survived by his life partner, Vivian M. Jackson of Portland, and his son; Cris A. Hood-Rosales of San Francisco. No services will be held, per his request.
