Obituary of Crystal Kay Ward

Our beloved Crystal Kay Ward died suddenly on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at the age of 40. Her beautiful spirit fled, our girl we loved so much will be truly missed, for all that knew her were blessed by having known her. “A tear within a sister’s eye, a mother’s aching heart can only tell the agony how hard it is to part.” Crystal was born May 25th, 1971 in Goldendale, Washington. She spent most of her life in Yakima, Washington before moving to Oregon a few years ago. Crystal worked for the Yakima Herald-Republic and Sea Galley in Yakima. She also worked at Shari’s and Chevy’s Restaurants. Crystal is survived by her mother and step-father Pamela and Alan Rasuchl of Beaverton, Oregon and by two sisters, Michelle Baker and Lacey Strable, both of Beaverton, Oregon. She is also survived by two handsome sons, Brandon and Blake Ward of Yakima. She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Today is not a day of death, but rebirth because on this day we know she’s with you, Jesus Christ, our Lord. A Memorial Service for Crystal will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at Westside Community Church, located at 18390 Southwest Farmington Road, Beaverton, OR 97007.
