Obituary of Russell Olin Bassindale
Russ was born in Portland, Oregon. He passed away at home, in Aurora, after an illness due to cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Lila “Marsha;” son, George Bassindale; daughter, Sandra O’Neal; grandchildren, Greg and Julie Bassindale; sister, Gloria Bartels; stepchildren, Melody Ball, Ron McKinnon, Dian McKinnon, Gary McKinnon and Debbie Smith; step-grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Kyle Ball, Jessica Smith and Dillon McKinnon.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at the Multnomah Presbyterian Church, 7555 SW 45th Ave., Portland, 97219.
Donations may be made to a Hospice organization of your choice.
