Obituary of Elsie Mae Stahlnecker Crisell
Elsie Mae Stahlnecker Crisell passed away August 23rd, 2011 at the age of 92. Born February 24th, 1919 in Sherwood, Oregon she attended grade school and high school in her native city. She eventually went on to beauty school, later becoming a homemaker and a restaurant owner before retiring. A life-long Oregonian, she liked ocean fishing and also enjoyed working in her garden. She was a Presbyterian, and a member of the Moose and Elks organizations.
Elsie is survived by her daughter Nancy (John R.) Vlahos of Aurora, OR, by her grandson John C. (Michelle) Vlahos of Aurora, OR and granddaughter Connie (Mike) Moore. She is further survived by three great-grandchildren: Kenna, Kayla and Mikie Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Crisell. Elsie’s remains will be interred at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30th, 2011. Memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Helping Hands or to The Wilsonville Assisted Living.
