Obituary of Richard Lewis Olsen
Rick passed away at his home in North Bonneville, Washington on August 8, 2011. Rick was born in Portland, Oregon on June 20, 1959 to Roy Olsen and Diane Capasso. He attended school in Redmond, Oregon and received a certificate in Computer Technology from Portland Community College.
Rick is survived by his children Mandy Medley, Sheena Olsen and Richard Olsen; sisters Cindy Cross, Debbie Squires and Rebecca Borrows; brothers Eric Hart and Scott Graue (Growee); and grandmother Betty Olsen.
Rick was a true outdoorsman who loved to spend time boating, fishing and hunting. He was a jack-of-all trades who could build anything from the ground up. He also had a special place in his heart for his cats. Rick was a brilliant cook; his spaghetti was out of this world. He had managed to accumulate over 600 movies with everything from old sci-fi to Looney Tunes. Above all, Rick will be remembered for being a versatile and open-minded individual with a great sense of humor. A service of remembrance has been held. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center - Milwaukie.
