I haven't seen Steve in a long, long time, but I grew up around the block and Stevie and I were good friends in high school. What I remember of Stevie, is that he was loyal to his friends, and although he wasn't large, he never backed down from anyone. The entire Wack family were people you never forget, from Leo, Eleanor, Joanne and Karen (Kimmy was younger, and Jerry and Tommy were older). The whole family were always gracious and they all had a great sense of humor. Everyone who spent any time at the Wack house ended up with a nickname from Leo. I'm sure that Steve is in a good place and looking down with love for all.

Well Stevie, I know you're on your magic carpet ride or on that magic bus like you would say when we were young and at Brownsmead playing softball with the family and Charlie Curry would drive us all around on that bus of his. Uncle Leo and you must be "smelling gals bicycle seats" in heaven. LOL. (Wack joke). Love you and miss you.

"The Chair" is empty, the ESPN TV channel is off, your computer scree is blank and it is way too quiet! We miss your friendly "Hello" greeting, we miss your questions, we miss your story telling, we miss your jokes, we miss your laugh, we MISS YOU little BROTHER and our "Uncle Stevie"! We know your presence is around, because it is felt, but the sadness and emptiness is felt as our hearts ache. We could have lost you 30 days earlier, with your hospital stay, but are thankful we had the extra time and that your suffering and pain are gone.
