Obituary of Anita Mae Carter
Anita Mae Carter passed away July 11th, 2011 in Woodburn, Oregon. She was 82 years of age. Born January 12, 1929 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, she moved to the St. John’s area of North Portland, OR. She left Oregon and lived in Minnesota from 2001 until moving to Woodburn, Oregon in May of 2011. Anita had done clerical work, and enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Anita is survived by her sons Mike Rosling of Portland, OR, Rodger Rosling of Woodburn, OR and Craig Rosling of Fairview, OR. She is also survived by her daughter Karen Schmidt of New Germany, MN. A grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 25 she also had one great-great grandchild. She is further survived by her sisters Mary Moravec and Sharon Tomasovich, both of Ladysmith, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stan & Margie Carter; brothers Gene & Robert Carter and her children, Lucky Lindsmeier, Nancy Hendrickson, Barbara Rosling and Carl Rosling.
No services will be held per Anita’s wishes. Please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in Anita’s name.
