Obituary of Mary E. Gonzales
Mary E. Gonzales, 66 of Hillsboro died July 9, 2011 from complications of diabetes. Mary was born October 31, 1944 in San Francisco, Ca. to John and Bernice (Costello) Hendriks. On March 5, 1964 Mary married the love of her life, William Gonzales in Watsonville, Ca.
Mary is survived by her husband, William Gonzales; son, William Gonzales, Jr. and his wife, Brenda; grandson, Christopher Gonzales; granddaughter, Sabrina Gonzales; sisters Regina Pechar of San Jose, Ca., Elaine Hendriks of Hillsboro, Or., Tess Hendriks of Cottage Grove, Or., Janice Diener and her husband Rick of Sisters, Or.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Hendriks on August 23, 2003.
Mary had a heart of gold; she was the glue that held all her siblings together. Family was always her priority and if anyone needed a helping hand, she would always be there with an encouraging word. She enjoyed her family and she especially loved her little chihuahuas "Nina"and " Remi". She enjoyed the ocean and having lots of fun at the Oregon Coast. Mary will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23rd at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 39th and Main Street in Hillsboro.
Arrangements for cremation are under the care of Crown Memorial Center - Tualatin, Oregon.
