Sister Sue...Like I told you in the hospital in your final hours, "You did Good" But after the amazing memorial we had for you today, I have to rephrase it to "You did DAMN good." You really went out in style, Lady! It could not have been more beautiful and perfect and I know it was exactly the way you would have wanted it. You really brought the family together like I've never seen them in my life time. Thank you for that....I wish it could always been that way. I love you so much! I know you're kicking butt up there on the dance floor!!

Cindy's memorial service was just as she would have wanted....all her loved ones joining together to celebrate her life on earth. Cindy touched so many lives and will be missed and loved by all. Rest in peace sweet Cindy, and we will be thinking of you as you look down on us while rocking out, singing, dancing, and celebrating with us the joys and accomplishments of your loved ones.

Oh Aunt Cindy...There's so much I could say, but I really want to thank you for making the 3 of us (Autumn, Ken & I) make a pact to love and care for you UNCONDITIONALLY on one of those first visits. You made us all kiss your amber ring and I told you, "You have to teach me, because I don't know that unconditional love exists" Your reply..."Trust me!" Aunt Cindy, you have showed me what a truly compassionate human being is! I will use your words, your beliefs, and your unfaltering faith to guide me through the rest of my journey! Thank you for your love, your respect, and your ways of forgiveness...Till we meet again my love! And we will meet again, I still have to paint your toes!

Cricket, what a wonderful person you are. I'm very saddened by the news. You always reached out to me your stepson to make me feel part of the family. I still have that first letter you wrote me in 1993. When you moved to Colorado for that couple of years so long ago, you went through a lot of effort to find and meet me. I was so glad I did get a chance to go see you in Oregon. I've met very few who are so caring. Thanks Cricket! You are missed!

Dear Cindy, You are a true inspiration. Your life wasn’t always easy but that wasn’t going to stop you. You kept on going, turning negative’s into positives. Those last days could not have been easy for you, but even then with dignity, grace, humor and a bit of orneriness; once again you turned it around. You showed a peace and serenity that only knowing God gives.. I learned so much from you in this short time and for that I Thank You and will always cherish. Love Aunt Melva (Yvonne)

Mom, thank you for bringing me into this world. You had so many challenges placed in front of you and you overcame them all. Even at the end of your beautiful life you were fighting. You taught me how to be a fighter. I learned so much about you when Carrie Ann and her family, Stan and Allen and myself were cleaning your place. I also found the letters that I sent you from Basic Training in '91. I love you for being so proud of me. I tried my best for you. I love you with all my heart. The boys and I still pray for you at bedtime.
