Obituary of Anna Louise Fausett
Anna “Ann” Louise Fausett, 91, died on August 13, 2009 in Forest Grove, Oregon. Anna was born on February 15, 1918 to Jack and Alma Mackey. She was raised in Astoria, Oregon and attended Astoria High School where she was salutatorian. She married Marvin Fausett in 1942 and the couple had 3 sons, Gary, Kirk and Lowell. Ann worked primarily as a homemaker, and was very involved with her church, Peace Lutheran Church in Astoria. Ann loved to spend time with her family and to celebrate her Native Scandinavian heritage. Cooking and gardening were a couple of her favorite hobbies. Ann is survived by her husband, Marvin Fausett; sons Gary Fausett and partner Peter Jepsen of Newton, Massachussettes, Kirk Fausett and wife Wendy of Astoria, Lowell Fausett and wife Helen of Corvallis; sisters, Gertrude Nudell of Astoria and Irene Lewis of California; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Henry, Hugo and Homer Mackey. Please send donations in remembrance of Ann to Loaves & Fishes at 565 12th Street, Astoria, OR 97103.
