Beulah Zunke

Obituary of Beulah M. Zunke

August 11, 1912 – June 10, 2011 Beulah Margery Fry Zunke was born in Holcombe, Wisconsin to Levi & Bessie (Butler) Fry. Primarily raised in the Midwest, Beulah graduated from high school in Parma, Idaho – moving to Oregon in the ‘30’s. She was a skilled seamstress and beautician, always good with her hands. Beulah genuinely enjoyed sewing, baking, knitting, gardening, and – if she could ever squeeze in the time – reading. Beulah was a member of the Living Hope Church. She is survived by her daughters; Arlene Moore and Hazel George, sister; Mickey Partney (celebrating her 90th birthday in Cottage Grove, OR ), 5 grandchildren , 5 great grandchildren and a niece. Beulah was preceded in death by her mother, father, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 husbands & many family and friends. Getting older is NOT for sissies, and Beulah stuck it out until her time had come. In Lieu of flowers, please give the Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Portland.
