Obituary of Lonnie Arthur Booth

Lonnie Arthur Booth (58) passed away on May 28, 2011 at home in Molalla from a short illness. He was as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Lonnie was born on February 26, 1953 in Pomeroy, Washington to Clifford and Phyllis (Edmunds) Booth. He was educated in Washington and Idaho, and worked as a Computer Technician for Xerox in Wilsonville for 14 years. He was an Air Force veteran. Lonnie lived in Vancouver for 10 years until moving to Molalla two years ago. Preceding him in death are his first wife, Claudia; and his brothers, Terry J. and Randy G. Booth. Lonnie was a loving and giving father, son, and husband. Prior to his illness, he enjoyed hiking, wood working, and collecting with his wife, Jasimyne, and his parents; as well as playing with his grandchildren, and spending quality time with his girls. Survivors include his wife, Jasimye at home; parents, Clifford and Phyllis Booth of Vancouver, Washington; daughters, Katrina J. Polencheck (Lee) of Wausau, Wisconsin, Laura K. Booth of Anchorage, Alaska; three grandchildren, Logan Polencheck, Chloe Polencheck, and Remington Polencheck; two nieces and one nephew. A memorial service is being held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at Molalla. Private burial will at Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Tualatin.
