Obituary of Paul Trautman
June 28, 1919 – May 8, 2011 Lived a beautiful life. Native to New Orleans, Paul and wife Roni settled in Portland in 1955, where Paul was a founding physician at Kaiser-Permanente for many rewarding years. He was a wonderful father to Kim, Paul, Jamie, and Walter, and grandfather to Caitlan, Hannah, Marshall, Kelsey and Jacques. Schooled at Loomis, Yale and Tulane, Paul was always hungry for knowledge. He was doing crosswords and Sudoko until his last week of life. Paul had an insatiable zest for life. He loved to adventure to new places, share good food and drink with family and friends, but especially, with Roni, his wife for 59 years. We miss him very much. A memorial celebration is being planned for June 25, 2011. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Portland.
