Obituary of Christina Helmuth
July 13, 1925 – May 15, 2011 Christina Helmuth, 75, passed away on May 15, 2011 at her home in Newberg. Christina was born on July 13, 1935 in Fresco, California to Bessie and Christian Helmuth. She was raised in Fresno and later attended Indian school in Oklahoma. She was a woman of many trades, working as a business owner, a truck driver, a grape farmer, and a nurse. Aside from work, she loved spoiling her babies and her Chihuahua, Tiffany. She also enjoyed sewing and crafting. Christina moved to Oregon in 1995. Christina is survived by her daughter Rexanna Troxel of Lincoln City; son Jeffrey Russo (and spouse Jean) of Newberg; granddaughter Joy Sifferle (and spouse Jim) of Portland; grandson Sean Saula of Lincoln City; five great-grandchildren, Saige, Jake, Dillon, Monica and Ryan.
