Obituary of Allie Paulson

Allie Paulson, of Washougal, Washington, passed away at her home on October 5, 2009, at 96 years of age. Although born in Idabelle, Okalahoma, on March 2, 1913, Allie was raised in Milton Freewater, Oregon, and remained in the Pacific Northwest for the rest of her life. She married Alvin Paulson in 1933, and the two had three children together, sons Burnell and Bernard, and daughter Bernadine. Allie was a homemaker who also made time to volunteer at Portland Adventist Community Services and International Children’s Care. She was also an active church member in the congregation of 7th Day Adventist in Roseburg. Allie’s family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Portland Adventist Community Services at 11020 NE Halsey in Portland, Oregon in her honor. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Allie is survived by son, Burnell Leon Paulson, of Oregon City, Oregon, son, Bernard Harvey Paulson, of Portland, Oregon, daughter, Bernadine Paulson, of Washougal, Washington, sister-in-law, Mary Paulson Lauda, of Gladstone, Oregon, in addition to 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Paulson. Arrangements were Crown Memorial Center – Milwaukie.
