Obituary of Van Kevin White
Oct 5, 2009 Van Kevin White, a Loving Husband and Father, passed away while fighting cancer in Sweet Home, Oregon. Born August 4, 1942 in Sacramento, CA to Roy and Velma White, relocated to Post Falls, ID and then to Oregon. He is survived by his Loving Wife Laura, Daughter Theresa, Grand Daughter Jenean and his dog and 2 cats Brandy, Boots and Camby. Van loved flying! He was a private pilot and enjoyed the freedom of flying. He liked camping, metal detecting, canoeing and the outdoors. He once did a 150 mile canoe trip on the Missouri river in Montana. He was an avid and licensed Ham Radio Operator, call sign KC7UDU. He was a Police Officer in San Carlos, California and Post Falls, Idaho with 14 years service and won many trophies for expert marksmanship.Van worked many years for PG&E in California and Hewlett Packard in Corvallis, Oregon.
