Obituary of Grace Maxine Cook
Grace Maxine (Hester) Cook March 9, 1922-October 19, 2010 Grace Maxine (Hester) Cook was born to Arthur and Cormelia Hester in 1922. The family of 9 came to Oregon in 1932 and settled in Hood River. During WWII Grace worked in the ship yards along with one other sister. Years later, while working at the old Oak Grove pharmacy, she met and married WWII veteran Lyle Cook. Grace is survived by her sister Augusta Hester, her daughter Doris, son in law Pat, grandson Sam and one great grandchild. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center-Milwaukie.
