Obituary of James Ostrom
September 12, 1943 – October 18, 2010 James ‘Ozzie’ Ostrom was born in Forsyth, Montana to Alvin and Georgia Ostrom (Campbell) on a Sunday – the 12th of September in 1943. He served his country proudly in the Navy from 1961 – 1964. After he was discharged, he moved to Oregon he became a truck driver, working for Garrett Freightlines, Silver Wheel, PIE and Yellow Freight. He retired after 36 years in 2000. Among Ozzie’s favorite activities were playing Pinochle and golf. Jim lived his life to the fullest, had many family and friends who loved an adored him. He is survived by his son; Jim Ostrom, daughter; Laurie Brunelle and his grandchildren; Brandon & Tyler Brunelle and Travis & Andrew Ostrom. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Mountain View Christian Church in Gresham. We miss you Ozzie.
