Obituary of Audrey M. Millak
Nov. 6, 1922 – Oct. 2, 2010 Audrey was born in Bemidji, Minnesota to Robert & Magna Erickson. The family moved to Portland where she grew up with her brothers Bob Jr., Harley & Jack. Audrey married George Millak on May 18, 1945. They enjoyed 65 wonderful years of marriage. They resided in Portland before moving to Gearhart, OR in 1976. Audrey was a member of Riverside Country Club while living in Portland and a member of Astoria Country Club where she was the Fall Handicap Golf Champion in 1979. Audrey enjoyed entertaining for family & friends. Their dinner parties were especially memorable. Audrey adored her grandchildren & great grandchildren. They didn’t call her Grandma, they aptly called her “Sweetie”. She always looked forward to having them come to the beach during the summer. Audrey was a loving, compassionate, sentimental woman; always with a smile. Audrey is survived by her son George III, daughter in law Donna, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her 3 brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband George last July. A special thanks to all their wonderful friends in Gearhart for being so nice to George & Audrey; you are special people. Audrey & George are back together again, forever. Goodbye “Sweetie” we love you.
