Obituary of Douglas Lee Parmely
Albany: Douglas Lee Parmely passed away on October 4, 2010 at the age of 59. He was born June 11, 1951 to Carlton and Wilma Parmely in Lansing, Michigan. He was raised in Garden Grove California. He spent most of his life and raised his family in Willits, California. Doug worked as a phone technician and then went to work for Costco. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, woodworking, pool, darts, puzzles, family and friends. Doug is survived by his wife of 39 years Rita; daughter Tame Shannon and her husband Bryan and daughter Beverly; brothers Charles and Barry; sister Wilma Woods; also 4 grandchildren Kayla, Justin, Blake and Brayden. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Mike and Terry. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:30 PM, October 8, at Crown Memorial Center, 412 Lancaster Dr NE in Salem. Memorial Contributions can be made in Doug’s’ name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
