Obituary of Barbara Jean Levi
Barbara Jean Levi passed away in the morning hours of September 25, 2010 at the age of 65. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ina Simmanaukas, born November 1, 1944 in San Francisco, California. She moved to Oregon in 1991 and worked in nursing, mental health and drug and alcohol counseling. She is survived by her daughter Angelia Padilla and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Arthur Manuel Ruda. Barbara enjoyed cooking, crafts, spending time with her grandkids and daughter, knitting, crocheting, telling jokes, laughing and listening to music. “She had such a big heart and always gave no matter what. Barbara was the best mom anyone could have and she was loved by so many people. She was very smart, creative, gave great advice and had the best arms to cry in.” Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Salem.
