Obituary of Dixie Darlene Powers
Dixie Darlene Powers, 57, of Molalla passed away September 16, 2010 after a long illness. A service will be held at a later date. Dixie Darlene Robison was born January 8, 1953 in Santa Cruz, CA to Anthony A. and Thelma J. (Evans) Robison. She lived in Watsonville, California till 1990 when she moved to the Portland area. She was a circulation manager for the Register-Pajaronian newspaper in Watsonville, CA and was also a security guard for American Protective Services before becoming a full time homemaker. She loved scrapbooking, painting, dancing and crocheting. She was very outgoing and loved family get togethers. She was always thinking of others and willing to help anyone in need. She married Paul Earl Powers June 16, 1968. She is survived by her husband, Paul Powers; daughters Paula Toland and Tina McKinney; sister Rene Keeler; 4 grandchildren and many friends. Contributions may be made to the Oregon Humane Society or the American Lung Association. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Milwaukie.
