Obituary of Gary Alan Plew
Gary Alan Plew passed away on August 14th, 2010 in Astoria, Oregon. Gary was born July 31st, 1970 in Portland, Oregon where he attended Beach Elementary, Ockley Green Middle School and Open Meadow Alternative, where he received his GED. Gary was an ink maker for several years before traveling about the Northwest and eventually putting roots down on the Oregon coast. He very much enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and helping others whenever he could. Gary is survived by his sons Kristopher James Plew of Battleground, WA and Michael Francis Plew of Salem, OR. Gary is further survived by his brothers Paul Franklin Plew of Portland, OR and Robert Joseph Brunelle of Lincoln City, OR, and by his sister Winter Dawn Brunelle, of Lincoln City. Gary is also survived by his girlfriend of ten years, Mary Anne Campbell of Astoria, OR. Gary was preceded in death by both of his parents, Gerry L. Plew of Vancouver, WA and Anna Lee Plew of Lincoln City, OR. A Memorial for Gary Alan Plew will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 in the “Columbia Cottage” at Columbia Park, 4339 N. Lombard, Portland, Oregon, 97203.
