Obituary of Elvis Anthony Allen

Elvis Anthony Allen passed away on July 28th, 2010 in Portland, Oregon. He was fifty-five. Elvis was born June 26th, 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee and was raised in the Volunteer State. He went on to live in Anchorage, Alaska from 1970 to 1993, where he graduated from Anchorage High School in 1973. Elvis served in the United States Navy from 1979 to 1981, and after his honorable discharge became a mill worker. On March 18th, 1989 Elvis and Michele Dickson were joined in marriage at a ceremony held in Anchorage. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing sports with his kids and spending time in the company of his family. Elvis is survived by his wife Michele René Allen of Tigard, OR, by his daughter Sara René Allen, also of Tigar, OR and by his sons Kyal Anthony Allen, Tigard, OR, and Christian Allen and Jeremy Allen, both of Illinois. Elvis is further survived by his brother Clifford Allen of Phoenix, AZ, and his sisters Marie Allen of Anchorage, AK and Joyce Allen of Texas. Elvis was preceded in death by his parents Carrie Kinter and LA Allen, and by his sister Billy Jean Marcin. A service with full military honors will be held for Elvis Anthony Allen at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20th, 2010 at Willamette National Cemetery.
