Obituary of Janet R. Anderson
Janet R. Anderson, of Oregon City, Oregon passed away on Sunday, August 8th, 2010 at the age of 78. Janet was born in Astoria, Oregon to Peter and Lillie (Nutter) Carlson on September 16, 1931. In 1973, Janet wed James John Anderson in Reno, Nevada. She worked as a secretary for many insurance companies over the span of her career, most notably Stewart & Tunno and All-State. She also played a very active role in the lives of her grandchildren as she got older. Janet enjoyed helping out with the SMART program and volunteering her time at Woodland Park Hospital. She was a member of the congregation at Milwaukie Covenant Church. Janet is survived by her son Leslie Holdiman; daughter Kathy Kahler; brother Donald Carlson; 10 grandchildren and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James John Anderson, and her son, Daniel Holdiman. A Memorial Service was held at Milwaukie Covenant Church on August 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center – Milwaukie.
